Cost effective alternative to poured concrete floors!

FLOORS: Cem-Steel is the cost effective alternative to achieving non-combustible floor design assemblies with fire-ratings up to two hours.

A galvanized steel sheet of 26 gauge (0.019" minimum) is laminated to one side of the non-combustible fiber cement board - the board is intended to be installed with the steel side down against the supporting steel joists. Maximum joist spacing design is 24 inches on centers.

Installs by carpentry trades with standard carpentry tools.

Cem-Steel is supplied in 4’ x 8’ sheets and thicknesses of 7/16”, 5/8” & ¾". Square edges are available on all thicknesses and a modified tongue and groove is available on panels 5/8” & thicker.

Roofs: achieve non-combustible sloped roof design without pouring concrete! Shingles can be nailed on with pneumatically operated nailing guns. Eliminate code issues with FRT plywood.

Walls: Ideal for security walls where impact, abuse, and penetration prevention is required. Installs directly to framing.
